برعاية السيد عميد كلية الزراعة الأستاذ الدكتور خالد السهر، وبإشراف السيد رئيس قسم البستنة وهندسة الحدائق المدرس غسان زيد مريف، نفّذ القسم نشاطًا ميدانيًا ضمن البيوت البلاستيكية والمشاتل البحثية التابعة للكلية.

وتضمّن النشاط متابعة أعمال تهيئة التربة للزراعات المحمية باستخدام المكائن الزراعية، فضلًا عن متابعة نمو النباتات في المشتل والاطلاع على التجارب العلمية التي يجريها طلبة الدراسات الأولية .

ويأتي هذا النشاط ضمن خطط كلية الزراعة الرامية إلى دعم الجانب التطبيقي والبحثي، وتوفير بيئة علمية متكاملة تسهم في تعزيز خبرات الطلبة، بما يخدم أهداف جامعة سامراء في خدمة المجتمع والقطاع الزراعي.

Field Scientific Activity in the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Khalid Al-Sahar, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering, Lecturer Ghassan Zaid Mrayef, the department carried out a field activity within the greenhouses and research nurseries of the college.

The activity included following up on soil preparation works for protected cultivation using agricultural machinery, as well as monitoring plant growth in the nursery and reviewing the scientific experiments conducted by undergraduate students.

This activity comes as part of the College of Agriculture’s plans to support the practical and research aspects, and to provide an integrated scientific environment that contributes to enhancing students’ skills, in line with the goals of the University of Samarra in serving the community and the agricultural sector.
