The lecturers pointed out the significant status that women hold in various fields of life, as they play an active role in education, teaching, work, and creativity.
They are the first school from which a child learns values and morals, and they also participate alongside men in the fields of science, economy, and social development, having proven their ability to succeed and excel whenever given appropriate opportunities.
In addition, the seminar addressed the historical role of women in building human civilizations, as different eras have witnessed the emergence of women scholars, leaders, and writers who contributed to the development of societies. In the modern era, their participation has expanded to include politics, economics, and sciences, achieving remarkable accomplishments in various fields.
In the same context, the seminar discussed the challenges that women still face in some societies, such as discrimination or limited opportunities, emphasizing the importance of supporting women’s rights and empowering them to fully participate in public life. This is what many institutions and international organizations are working toward in pursuit of justice, equality, and enhancing women’s role in sustainable development.
