نظّم قسم الجغرافية في كلية التربية للعلوم الإنسانية- جامعة سامراء، ندوة علمية عن “العراق أولاً: بناء الهوية الوطنية وترسيخ روح المواطنة”، قدّمها الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور مراد أحمد خلف.
وافتتح-خلف-ببيان مفهوم شعار “العراق أولاً” وأهميته في المرحلة الراهنة، ودوره في توحيد أبناء الوطن وتعزيز الانتماء الوطني بالإعلام والتعليم،إضافة إلى التحديات التي تواجه الهوية الوطنية، في مقدمتها الطائفية والانقسام السياسي والاجتماعي، فضلاً عن تأثير الأزمات الاقتصادية في ضعف الولاء الوطني.
فيما اوضح ان دور الشباب في رفع شعار “العراق أولاً” عبر مبادرات تطوعية ومشاريع مجتمعية تسهم في مواجهة الفكر المتطرف وترسيخ روح المواطنة. مشيراً ان الممارسات اليومية التي تجسد الانتماء للوطن بخدمة المجتمع والحفاظ على المال العام والبيئة والبنية التحتية.
واختتم-خلف-بالتأكيد على أن الهدف الأساس هو تعزيز الانتماء الوطني، ونشر ثقافة التسامح والتعاون، وتشجيع العمل الجماعي لخدمة العراق فوق المصالح الفردية.

The Department of Geography organized a scientific seminar titled “Iraq First.”
The Department of Geography at the College of Education for Human Sciences – University of Samarra organized a scientific seminar entitled “Iraq First: Building National Identity and Strengthening the Spirit of Citizenship.” The seminar was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Murad Ahmed Khalaf.
Dr. Khalaf began by explaining the concept of the slogan “Iraq First” and its significance in the current stage, highlighting its role in uniting the people of the nation and reinforcing national belonging through media and education. He also discussed the challenges facing national identity, foremost among them sectarianism, political and social division, as well as the impact of economic crises on the weakening of national loyalty.
He further explained the role of youth in promoting the slogan “Iraq First” through voluntary initiatives and community projects that help counter extremist ideologies and strengthen the spirit of citizenship. He noted that daily practices reflecting true patriotism include serving the community, protecting public funds, and preserving the environment and infrastructure.
Dr. Khalaf concluded by emphasizing that the ultimate goal is to enhance national belonging, spread the values of tolerance and cooperation, and encourage collective work for the service of Iraq above individual interests.
